We are a small independent spa servicing and repair company based in Exeter, Devon. The company was founded by Alan Cope, a highly experienced hot tub technician who has worked in the industry since 2007.

Originally from Derbyshire, Alan began his hot tub journey by building a 16 person spa at his Ashbourne home in 2005. It was this feat of engineering which led to his first job as a spa technician for Mont Blanc Spas in the French Alps! Alan covered around 1000km a week in the Haute Savoie region. He installed, repaired and carried out monthly service checks for large companies, luxury chalets and private home owners.

South West Spas was founded in 2012. Since then, South West Spas has built up a solid customer base in the region and has a good reputation with pool companies who regularly pass on work they cannot do.

South West Spas can undertake any repairs or installations – Alan has used everything from cranes to helicopters to install hot tubs.

Although he now heads up a company, Alan really enjoys meeting customers and repairing hot tubs – so he’s always out and about representing South West Spas.
